I've been deliberating about this first post for a while now. All right, so it's technically the second post. But the first was more of a test than anything. To get back to what I was saying...I really couldn't figure out what to write. So I decided to just write it!
About me: I'm a teen in Canada, "named" the apprentice. I started blogging at our family blog and eventually decided that the material I posted, although interesting, didn't always quite fit the scheme of things down at learning and thrift oriented Dewey's Treehouse. I still post there once in a while, but I don't want to take over the Treehouse with my own content. So I started The Neoapprentice. It's a Neopets themed blog for those of you who aren't familiar with that...I love it, but I still needed a place to put beauty related ideas. I kept coming up with all sorts of things and thinking, "I sure would love to have a beauty blog," so eventually I did it! I'm glad I did and I'd appreciate any feedback.
About the blog: I'm hoping to have all sorts of things on here, from products reviews, fashion news, new product lines to check out, FOTDs (face of the day), and NOTDs (nails of the day). I'm really excited and I hope to get some traffic on here. Please check back and link to me if you'd like.
In the next couple days I will be modifying my blog and posting things. One little secret I'll let you in on right now, that I'm really excited about: I'm going to the salon tomorrow, for highlights and a pedicure!! A big thank-you goes to Aunt S. for sending me a gift certificate. I'm getting subtle purple highlights which should be very cool and it's pretty neat for me because I've never used haircolour before.
And before I sign off, I'd like to mention one more thing because I think any readers will find it pretty cool...at my highschool, they have some really cool Hairstyling and Aesthetics classes. I just finished the entry level one about a month ago and next year I'm taking level two. I'll get into this more in another post but I thought I'd mention it.

You got purple highlights? I hope your mom is still talking to me after that! Hope your appointment was excellent - would love to see a photo! Sheryl
Mom said she doesn't mind too much about my hair because it can always grow back...she was supportive. :) I actually ended up with caramel instead, which I think looks a lot better and I am very very happy with them. Pictures coming soon and thank you!
